About the Manual Tester role

We are looking for junior candidates interested in technology who would like to join our company for the position of Manual Tester. Your main role would be to find defects in translated software products and comprehensively report them.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manually test desktop products and web applications for well-known software development companies
• Find defects in translated software products according to instructions provided
• Report defects in English
• Follow specific standards, practices, and policies
• Monitor assigned defects and provide relevant information required by software engineers or developers.
• Communicate closely and pro-actively with Test Lead, peer Test Engineers, Software Engineers and Test Development Engineers.
• Report relevant issues to a project Test Team Lead and a Project Manager.

 

Requirements

• Knowledge of Windows OS
• You don't have to be experienced in IT world, interest and passion are counted and important
• English level at least B2 - you'd be working as a part of an international team
• Attention to detail - you need to be able to spot mistakes so that we can make sure, that the translated products are top-notch
• If you have some previous experience with manual testing, it is surely an advantage, but it's not as important as the things above
