• Provides direct support to the manufacturing test operations and assemble operations.

• Provides analysis and solutions to manufacturing test process performance on quality and productivity issues.

• Performs Validation Activities, Test Method Validation, Computer system validation, Process Characterization, Process Qualifications, and Equipment Installation Qualification on new equipment and equipment changes.

• To develop, update and revise testing and manufacturing documentation per Medtronic procedures, standards and regulations.

• Provides and implements required dispositions to release product and equipment.

• Transfers new product and test technologies from other Medtronic facilities to the business unit assigned or from Vendor to Medtronic.

• Proactively identify and document calibration and PM requirements and procedure for manufacturing assemble and test equipment.

• Provides process and equipment training to employees.

• Monitors test system performance using Statistical Tools.

• Implements Engineering Change Orders on test equipment as well as test software.

• Uses test software as debug tool for discrepant product or equipment.

• Performs other position related duties as assigned.

• Reports any observed or informed process and/or product non-conformities to the Supervisor.

• Finds resolution of Quality Situations at the area of responsibility.

• Reports any complaint regarding a Medtronic product to the Supervisor.

• Complies with all the requirements in the operational procedures at the area of responsibility to meet the requirements of all applicable Quality System regulations.

EHS Responsibilities

o Educational:

• Bachelor's degree of Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Science of Engineering or related field

o Experience:

• Minimum 4 years'in Manufacturing/Design Transfer Environment preferably in medical or electronic devices including supervisory experience.

• Troubleshooting in test equipment. Good hands on knowledge of electrical equipment, Circuit /Pneumatic diagrams and Control theory.

• Validation activities include Test Method Validation, Computer system validation, Process Characterization and Process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ). Good hands on Statistic knowledge and Minitab application.

• Experience of over-sea collaboration on design transfer or equipment development and qualification.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6 sigma and 5S.
