We are hiring for a Test Engineer to collaborate with the Lenovo XClarity team. Come and join our biggest research & development lab in Europe that is going to significantly grow during this year! Job Description: The System Management test engineer is a critical member of Lenovo Software Development Organization. Your main responsibility is to ensure that new features and functionalities are fully tested to meet the product requirements and to reach a high-quality level. This person will be part of a mixed developers & testers scrum team working on a Data Center application that provides centralized management, monitoring and analytics for environments with large numbers of devices: servers, storage, networking, chassis. You will report to Senior Development Manager. #### Position Requirements: Your detailed responsibilities are: • Design, create, execute, monitor, and update test scenarios based on defined acceptance criteria • Document, investigate, troubleshoot, and report the uncovered software defects • Find issues early in development cycle to prevent late changes into the code • Design, develop and execute automated test-cases as per project needs • Attend the scrum events within the team Skills Required: • Understanding the lifecycle of a software development project • Multitasking with ease since services may be required on different projects at the same time • System management Software testing knowledge • Good documentation skill • Good knowledge of Operating systems • Good knowledge for VMware echo system • Good knowledge of Bugzilla, JIRA, Agile methodologies • Able to work in a fast paced, collaborative, environment • Troubleshooting, problem solving mind set; ability to systematically and effectively break down problems to identify root failures • Customer focused, Quality mindset where mistakes and failure are viewed as opportunities to learn and improve and close gaps • Excellent written and oral English communications is required. • Strong teamwork is essential. • Experience working as part of a broader, global team preferred.
