Job Description:

Main duties included:
- Prepare samples for physical, colour fastness, dimensional stability, strength and functional tests.
- Perform textile tests included physical, colour fastness, dimensional stability, strength and functional properties.
- Operate and perform internal calibration, maintenance of test equipment.
- Assist supervisor in preparation of QA documents.
- Data input.
- Perform tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

Additional duties may be included:
- Assist qualitative and quantitative analysis of textile fibres included handle chemical solvent to carry out chemical fibers separation or manual fibers separation when needed. 

Job Requirements:

- Tertiary study of textile technology/ product testing or relevant.
- 0 - 3 years working experience in Laboratory Industry.
- Able to read test standards and client requirements independently.
- Able to prioritize and organize work effectively to meet assigned deadlines.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Interested to develop full skills in textile testing, on-job training will be provided.
- Knowledge of Chemistry or Physics is an advantage.
- Candidates with less experience and educational background will be considered for Assistant Test Engineer or Laboratory Assistant.
