In your new position as Quality, Change and Configuration Manager you will be responsible for leading the continuous and high standard Quality Assurance and Improvements of our products and processes. As a member of our Rolling Stock and Customer Services team in Montreal, you will play a key role for the successful delivery and entry into service of the new fleets’ trainsets. You will work closely with and support the Project Director, Manager, and the Project Team to act in compliance with the processes and in archiving project targets in adherence to project milestones and schedule. Ensuring product / service / project quality, contract, and requirements fulfillment and thus customer satisfaction. What will you do? In your new position you will be responsible for leading the testing activities for the PIS/CCTV technical solution on rolling stock projects software for the onboard as well as the wayside equipment connected to it. Interfacing with various disciplines throughout the international project team as well as with our departments in the US and Europe for testing of the IT solutions and business analysis. Driving increased test productivity, quality and customer satisfaction through strong know-how, experience, successful collaboration, and innovative thinking. Design, develop and implement end to end test plans and strategy for manual as well as automated testing environments of the PIS and CCTV system Create test documentation such as Test Specification, Test Procedures and Reports Design, and create test cases and/or test protocols for functional and non-function system requirements. Write test cases with detailed steps and their respective expected results Execute and/or provide support executing the test cases and generation test report Use laptops and troubleshooting Software (e.g. Wireshark) to perform troubleshooting and analysis of failures Enter encountered defects into the defect management tools (e.g. DOORS, DevOps, ClearQuest) along with their detailed reproduction steps. Ensuring quality of testing results and identify needs for refinement Balance deadlines, functionality, and quality while taking your decisions Understand and follow company and industry safety rules, practices, and procedures What will you need to succeed? BS or MS in Computer Science or System engineering 5+ years of experience in writing test plans, test matrix, test report, etc. Ability to analyze a requirement and allocate it to the proper test level Ability to carefully examine requirements and specifications to anticipate quality issues and provide timely feedback when specifications are incomplete or inaccurate Prior experience in creating test plan and test protocols to verify and validate a System of Systems (SoS) for functional and non-function system, End-2-End, and UAT testing. Hands-on experience with network traffic capturing and analysis tools like Wireshark Strong troubleshooting techniques Hands-on experience with cloud testing and testing in the cloud Understanding of test engineering systems, processes and automation working across multiple company product lines. Ability to propose new ideas on how to improve customer satisfaction and quality of product Proven ability to be structured, organized and detail-oriented Ability to work both independently and in an Agile team-oriented, and collaborative environment Good written and oral communication skills in English language. French would be an asset Working experience with requirement and test management tools (DOORS, DevOps, ClearQuest, etc.) is an asset Nice to have experience with Automation testing scripts using Python or Java based framework About us.
