Job Description
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Test Equipment Engineer for the Global Manufacturing/ Offshore Operations Department to:· Maintain (calibrate, diagnose, repair) in-house Test equipment. And responsible for setting up of Test handler and wafer Prober· Develop process / procedural guidelines in support of continuous improvement activities, including generation of equipment maintenance specs and other related documentation· Participate in projects to install and upgrade Test equipment / configuration required by BU segments· Comply with safety policies and regulationsImplement applicable Company/Department/Team Goals
Duties & Responsibilities
Working in the Global Manufacturing/ Offshore operations Department based in Hsinchu |Taiwan, you will:
Communication:
- Verbal/Written communication with colleagues, suppliers and others
- Report generation as required and presentation of reports, problem analysis, etc.
- Giving timely information to colleagues and managers
- Regular meeting with cross functional team, suppliers and vendors
- Creating a positive atmosphere through communication [accordingly to Dialog Code of Ethics]
Delivering Results:
- Completion of assigned tasks on time and on budget
- Meeting and exceeding targets [improve Equipment efficiency, Cost reduction]
- Managing projects (CIP, Equipment and Process Controls)
- Cost reduction initiative
- Effective use of resources [to minimize costs, shorter cycle time, maximize results]
Business Awareness:
- Making improvements in own work area [CIP, Downtime Reduction, Error-Proofing]
- Innovation and troubleshooting hardware (socket, kits, docking, DUT boards)
- Understanding what drives the business and what their contributions are
- Contributes to decision-making at the appropriate level [Teamwork, Brainstorming]
- Ability to solve problems at the appropriate level
- Willingness to travel for support, Project & training
Working with Others:
- Fostering relationships within the team, Equipment suppliers, hardware vendors and the cross functional department team
- Work closely in collaboration with Vendors and Suppliers
- Assisting and provide guidance to colleagues in accomplishing assigned tasks and projects.
The Individual
- Diploma or above in electronics, electrical or computer sciences with minimum of 5 or more years’ experience in Test Maintenance, Engineering or Manufacturing Operations.
- Experience in maintenance (calibrate, diagnose, repair) of Teradyne I/UFlex Systems, J750, Advantest V93K, ASL1K
- Experience in setting up of Test handlers (Epson, Multitest) and Wafer probers (UF3000). Know how to create prober recipe and device profile is an advantage.
- Experience in maintenance and debugging/repair of DUT boards, Test sockets and Probe cards.
- Good knowledge in WLCSP and Singulated device testing.
- Statistical and Data Analysis Knowledge
- Good communication/written skills in Mandarin and English Language
- Ability to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadline
- Positive attitude, excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills, eager to learn and ability to adapt to changes.
