How will you make an impact?
 
We currently have an opportunity for a Test Lead / Reliability Engineer for our clinical microbiology instrument development team in Vantaa, Finland.
 
We are looking for a proactive person with good collaboration skills, a solid technical background and motivation to always learn more. We expect that you have already gained experience of testing among medical devices or other applicable field.
 
In this position your essential responsibility is to plan sufficient testing so that product reliability can be assessed.
 
Essential tasks and responsibilities
 

• Overall planning of sub-system reliability testing
• Designing, building and maintaining reliability test setups
• Leading testing with the sub-systems
• Leading root cause analysis for reliability issues
• Participating design reviews
• Maintaining bug database
• Reporting overall reliability status
• Leading daily acitiviteis for reliability team
• Creating Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures for own area

• Master's degree (M.Sc.) or equivalent in Mechanics, Automation or other applicable field
• Min 3 years experience in testing of IVD / medical device or other applicable field
• Demonstrated ability to work systematically and meet project deadlines
• Strong ability in instrumentation troubleshooting
• Strong ability to collaborate and discuss the testing needs in both hardware/mechanics and software
• Good documentation skills
• Good spoken and written English

• Knowledge of microbiology
• Six Sigma Green Belt
