Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering [Education in Electrical engineering, a must] Experience: Min. 6 yrs of relevant working experience in Electrical industry. Application of electrical & electronic intensive LV switchgears in the field. Installation & usage of LV switchgears Practical experience in R&D & laboratory work from product evaluation & analysis perspective Competency in methods used for product development, Lab development, product testing & evaluations. Main Function: Verification & Validation of LV switchgear products to meet the relevant product standard as well manufacturer specific standard requirements during the process of product development. Quality / Technical Management of test laboratory in accordance with ISO 17025 (NABL) Responsibilities / Tasks: Conducting of Development testing / R&D testing regarding exploring new concept, new material etc. Conducting of Type testing and approval according to standard. Analysis of test data & deriving corrective measures to improve technical concept, customer specifications or economical requirements. Documentation of test results according to standards. Planning & conceptualizing of relevant test facilities according to business needs. Planning of measurement equipment’s / system in line with uncertainty requirement of ISO 17025 (NABLS) accreditation scope & maintaining valid calibration status for use. Follow process requirements in accordance with ISO9001, EHS & ISO17025 / NABL Knowledge: Working experience on projects executing Type Testing of Low voltage switchgear products according to relevant IS/IEC/UL standards viz IEC 60947, IEC 60989, IEC 61008, IEC 61009, IEC 60269. Hands on experience with measurement & recording system viz. Scope meters, Data loggers, PC & PLC based systems etc. Switching technology expertise in LV switchgears preferred Execution & commissioning of lab facilities & measurement system Driving digitalization within Lab. & Lab. processes Good understanding of basic Physics & Mathematics Basic knowledge in electronics, IT Network, IOT Good analytical ability, technical & 3D imagination. Good English speaking. Capabilities: Working together in larger project teams (communication, information sharing) Frankness in intercultural working teams (Germany, China, USA) Planning & Organizing Initiative Developing processes & methods for smooth & lean working Ability for continual learning Creativity, out of the box thinking.
