What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure: Before our software developers write even a single line of code, they strive to understand what drives our customers. What is their environment or user story based on? Implementation means – trying, testing, and improving outcomes until a final solution emerges. As a Test Professional at Siemens Smart Infrastructure, you will collaborate with Product Manages, Product Owners, Test Architects, Software Engineers and Software Architects to design and execute manual and automated tests for software products serving the commercial HVAC market. Responsibilities Consult Product Managers, Product Owners, Test Architects, Software Engineers and Software Architects in the requirement definition concerning the testability of Features Analyze requirements in order to define manual and automated test cases Execute manual software tests Performs Feature verification, ensuring that both functional and non-functional requirements are complete and conforming to standards Participate in design reviews, identifying potential technical problems or design flaws Participate in the evolution and implementation of product development processes and tools Interact with internal stakeholders such as support representatives, developers, technical writers, project managers, and quality assurance personnel Provide diagnostic and investigative support to assist in the resolution of software defects Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience University degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent 3-5 years of current practical experience in software testing and test design Practical experience or good working knowledge of building automation protocols and building management systems Practical experience in developing or contributing to the design of software test pipelines as part of a continuous integration process Proven proficiency and experience with Windows server Keen to deliver quality services in every aspect Excellent written and verbal communication Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
