Job Description
This postion opens in Hengelo, Netherlands - one of the major manufacturing sites of electrical products and systems for Eaton Critical Systems Division. We are open to international applications by offering relocation support to some extent (ticket, support with accommodation, visa documentation) Job summary: The job holder is expected to ensure that installations to be delivered comply with the functional and technical requirements of the IEC, KEMA and customer. Work is carried out according to plan, procedures and on the basis of specifications, drawings, standards and regulations and sales information. Plans and performs type testing on new or modified products Performs routine testing on products out of production Responsible for the electrical and/or mechanical testing of complex circuits, motor management systems, protections, transformers as well as the communication between various systems on functional and technical specification, i.e. technology, safety, standards and customer specifications Performs high voltage tests/trials up to 115,000 volts Measure partial discharges Programs security equipment based on customer-desired settings/relays and recording the data in a test document or report Creates customer-specific revision and repair reports Prepares test programs based on international standards and quality requirements Controls and maintains measuring and test equipment Plans and designs test equipment for routine or type test purposes Provides operating documentation for test equipment Records changes in schedules to the drawing office and draws up test reports based on data from the inspected installation Investigates failures and prepares statistical analysis Makes proposals on the basis of identified defects to optimize the process or to prevent recurrence Qualifications 3 years of experience Technical knowledge of working with - keyboard - voltage supplies up to 6000 volts and current supplies up to 2000 amperes, fixed and adjustable AC/DC - various measurement systems - hole bridge, high voltage cell - caba speed measurement system - tangent delta measuring system - Kwh meters and various protection relays (set up) - Engine management system Communication skills, teamwork, collaboration, written and spoken English What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
