The T&C Engineer is in charge to supply to the LRT 3 customer a system fully compliant with the approved specifications; therefore, he is in charge of the following activities: • In relation with the design teams to establish the Tests plans and procedures • Defines, organizes and coordinates, in collaboration with the Installation Manager, the methods, means and logistics necessary for on-site testing and commissioning. Makes sure they are taken into account by the subcontractors, and maintains the system part as its appropriate value in the overall system validation • Report to the engineering team the faults detected and ensures the follow up of their correction • Manages and arranges Interface Testing • Submits the test and Commissioning reports to the independent safety assessor • Supervising the execution tests in accordance with the test procedures in order to demonstrate conformity with the functional specifications, the expected performance • Supervising the given RAMS targets together with the RAMS manager • Ensure on-time reporting of problems encountered during testing to the subsystem manufacturing units and the direct subcontractors of the project group and resolution of problems The T&C engineer is responsible for onshore testing and commissioning activities and will be based in Kuala Lumpur; the role will be based in SMO MY.
