Position Description: The condition of your role and responsibility is listed below and will not be limited to: 1\. Perform system thermal design in developing hyperscale server platforms, which are including the definition of system/component specifications by MRD/CED, platform design validation and verification by schedule to meet product quality for TTM 2\. By DCG long-term strategy and platform roadmap to develop thermal technical roadmap. EX: water cooling technical study and new thermal solution research. 3\. To conduct in-house thermal system design process, specifications, guidelines, checklists and related documents for high quality DCG server/storage system 4\. Responsible for Server systems thermal solution design, Including system layout design, thermal simulation, cooler & fan design, system acoustic estimation, fan speed control design, HS & fan tooling and EC control, and solution continuous optimization (DFC, DFM, DFS). 5\. Define HS module and fan design and validation spec, define thermal related key components (PSU, HBA/VGA card, etc.) thermal/acoustic design spec and validation spec. 6\. Thermal vendor control, vendor capability evaluation and improvement. 7\. Handle manufacturing issue and quality issue, provide root cause analysis. 8\. Study and develop new technical features, update roadmap regularly. 9\. Use thermal simulation tool for product early sizing, work with team to come out achievable solution for system cooling. #### Position Requirements: 1\. BS or MS in Electrical or Mechanical/Thermal Engineering. 2\. 6 ~12 years relevant working experience in server system Thermal design experience 3\. English and Mandarin, read, Write and could direct discuss with customer on technical topic. 4\. Familiar with all aspects of thermal & mechanical design include thermal simulation tool.
