• Thermal design, simulation and test for VFD products, direct system layout and mechanical design, deliver results on-schedule
• Part approval & engineering release and change
• Trouble shooting for manufacturing issues, supplier issues & customer complaints, solve problems independently
• Cross-function communication and coordination
• Patents application on VFD related technology
• VAVE for thermal components
• Search for new thermal technologies and products with higher performance or lower cost
• Respond to other tasks at request from management

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Thermal Engineering, Engineering Thermal Physics, Refrigeration Engineering or related field
• At least 3 year experience in drives system development, UPS, Inverters or other power supplies design
• Cooling system design and optimization for power supply products
• Trouble shooting for thermal issues
• Knowledges on thermal related components (fan, heatsink, IGBT, etc.)
• Thermal test
• VAVE
• Proficient utilization of ICEPAK
• Familiar with Fluent, Flotherm, AutoCAD / ProE is preferred
• Interpersonal and team playing skills
