Objective of job:
Driving system (engine/transmission/EE system/Battery cooling) calibration regarding thermal management functions, testing and certification of imported and local built passenger cars engines regarding local requirements.
Tasks:
- Thermal management system calibration for driving system (engine/transmission/EE/Battery cooling system) based on local requirements e.g. local battery or other consumables and local driving profile for imported and locally built vehicles.
- Coordination with Mercedes-Benz Head-Quarter powertrain and Homologation development departments in Germany.
- Calibration and optimization of thermal managent functions for development and Life cycle management projects in RD China.
- Evaluation of thermal management behaviour regarding the whole driving system for xEV projects.
- Support localization activities of local engines.
- Work together with cross-functional departments like Quality,IPS, RD Germany development
- Defining, preparing and supporting durability vehicles and test bench for powertrain maturity-approval.
- Support the activities of the local vehicle/engine production, Support the Aftersales problem solving for the responsible projects.
- Data input and checking over all driveability functions
- Use of test rigs for basic application/calibration of the thermal managent functions
