TikTok Video Creator / Producer
Role mission
Build product demand and attention through high-performing short-form video content on the TikTok, and additionally Youtube short-form, platforms for Hi-Spec DIY tool products.
You will own the full video content generation cycle - concept, filming, editing, posting, performance tracking, and weekly competitor benchmarking.
Key responsibilities
●create high-impact short-form product videos (demonstration, problem-solution, lifestyle, comparison)
●publish consistently on TikTok and Youtube and manage content cadence
●test hooks, formats, trends, and creator-style storytelling
●analyse engagement performance and optimise future content
●benchmark competitor video output and interaction levels
●produce clear weekly performance reports
●collaborate with product and e-commerce teams on hero product launches
●support adaptation of winning video content for Amazon listing video use
Success metrics
●posting consistency and content volume
●video views and reach growth
●engagement rate (likes, comments, shares, saves)
●follower growth
●relative performance vs identified competitors
●ability to identify winning creative formats
Candidate profile
●proven hands-on experience growing TikTok and Youtube accounts
●strong filming, editing and storytelling ability
●understands product-led performance content
●analytical mindset with comfort interpreting metrics
●able to work in a fast-paced product launch environment
