Thomas College invites applications for the position of Title III Data Analyst. The Data Analyst develops analytics to support increased student retention and graduation at Thomas College. Reporting to the Vice President of Student Success, the Data Analyst conducts retrospective analyses and develops and tests new datasets related to retention and graduation. When warranted, the Data Analyst recommends updates to the student information system and recommends and assesses student interventions. The Data Analyst will develop an institutional plan for utilizing relevant data to increase retention and graduation, including data collected in campus departments. This position is funded through the College’s Title III grant and will submit work plans and weekly reports to the Title III Director. The Data Analyst functions as a member of the Student Success Division team.

The successful candidate will have experience administering and assessing student support programming in a college or university setting, including a working knowledge of best practices and data-informed interventions in student success. The position requires the ability to administer Title III activities in keeping with relevant campus and federal policies. Experience with analytical software is required, with experience with Microsoft Access and Power BI preferred. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments. A bachelor’s degree is required, while a master’s degree is preferred. Some evening and weekends required.
