The Tool Install Manager (TIM) is the accountable individual within the sites organization leading Tool Install (TI) construction operations for the campus. The overall programs scopes of work are broken into segments that are managed by each respective Functional Area Team which are also known as Project Implementation Teams PITs. Each PIT is led by the assigned Tool Install Project Managers who are responsible for their respective PITs health, fitness and capacity to plan and deliver reliable work.

The TIM owns, on aggregate, the portfolio of Tool Install scope as the overarching Program Manager. For large TI Ramps, the TIM may share responsibility with a Tool Install Operations Manager who is more focused on the tactical execution of tool install.

This position is based in Ohio and relocation assistance will be provided.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have at least one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field with 6+ years of people management experience.

  • 15+ years of experience in construction or project engineer or project manager area coordinator or discipline lead role will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise to balance the needs of the business with successful management of the organization.
  • Lean and innovation experience and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge and/or understanding of control methods for Cleanroom HVAC.
  • Experience with:
    • Design construction startup and turnover of Facilities systems would be an advantage.
    • Multiple sites
    • Integrating centralized processes with local requirements.
