As a Tool Install and Progressive Build Design Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver construction projects globally using multiple project delivery and execution strategies at a competitive advantage.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities pertaining to building and facilities construction projects.
  • Develop the contracting strategy, project scope, schedules, approval requirements, project budgets, quality and change controls.
  • Develop timeline of project approval requirements. Interacts with customer staff, coordinates resources and schedule.
  • Manage design output, design budgets, and performance management of the architectural and engineering vendor.
  • Assure accuracy of financial forecasts with tie-in to project schedules.
  • Manage the indirect budget, forecasts trades resources, resolves resource conflicts, and coordinates trades mobilization.
  • Engage in contract and legal negotiations, incident investigation, staff safety training, and project assessment.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to project plans.
  • Manage project team resourcing and training.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess the following:

  • Bachelor of science in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Structural or Chemical engineering or in Architecture with 6+ years of experience on design and construction with a focus on semiconductor, cleanroom or industrial projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of tool install business processes.
  • Experience with:
    • Designing facility systems distribution systems (mechanical, electrical, chems, gases, controls).
    • Using database analytics to drive insights.
    • Project planning, coordination and integration.
    • Facilitating virtual meetings.
