The Trade Channel Management lead will work closely with the commercial team (Sales & Marketing) defining commercial strategies which cover discount policy development and implementation, supply optimization practices, routes to market analysis, targeted wholesaler and pharmacy relationships and any other commercial initiatives that drive domestic revenues. In alignment with sales and marketing strategy, he/she will be responsible for the development and delivery of value-added services to commercial partners such as pharmacies and wholesalers to maximizing Allergan Aesthetics domestic revenue through these channels. He/she will manage commercial negotiations, performance tracking and competitors defense strategies. Key Responsibilities: Supports the country commercial organization to maximize Allergan Aesthetics domestic revenues in line with commercial strategy • Contribute to development of commercial policies to maximize domestic revenue across all franchises working cross-functional to ensure best practice is adopted. Regularly review polices ensuring they continue to achieve stated aims. • Ensure that commercial policies develop in line with the changing competitor environment. • Work with Sales Managers to ensure the commercial polices are implemented effectively. Develop KPIs and tracking mechanisms to ensure the sales teams, Marketing and commercial management have visibility of the current performance. • Work with Ass. Director Business Excellence and country management to identify opportunities to increase domestic revenue and market share from new or amended trading routes. • Ensure commercial strategies have the appropriate approval from the International Business Excellence team, are compliant with all internal policies and comply with local laws and legislation. Supply Optimization Implementation • The Trade Manager is the lead in market for implementing agreed supply optimization processes across all departments and products • Responsible for ensuring domestic market is supplied in-line with domestic consumption • Extraordinary orders are monitored and supplied in line with approved processes • Manages communication with all impacted parties to ensure Allergan Aesthetics complies with any legal requirements for supply optimization • Develops appropriate trackers and tracks implementation effectiveness and makes appropriate improvements to align to agreed supply optimization KPIs • Ensues imbalances of supply and demand (across all products) are highlighted to the country management and International team so appropriate action can be taken • Works with International Demand Planners and Finance to ensure supply forecasts are aligned to domestic consumption forecasts Pharmacy/Wholesaler Management • Manages relationship with targeted pharmacy/wholesaler accounts negotiating the placement of Allergan Aesthetics products to support commercial strategies • Tracks performance and ensure adherences to any commercial agreements with these key parties. Responsible for renegotiation and termination of any agreements not achieving its commercial objectives.
