This is a Trade Compliance & Logistics Coordinator role reporting to the Service Team Leader in the Business Area - Robotics & Discrete Automation located in Shanghai, China.

Your responsibilities

  • Co-operating with ABB trading compliance team to make sure our regional handling is following relevant legislations from government and ABB trading instructions.
  • Implementing daily work according to trade compliance, like customs tariff code apply, ECCN codes apply, custom clearance co-ordination & etc.
  • Co-ordinating between RDC warehouse & TMC on logistics (domestics & overseas) related issues solving.
  • Performing KPI follow up with different parties from logistics and DCM point of view.
  • Participating in regional ABB TCO forums.
  • Managing the trade compliance topics in regional level to be able to fore see the possible risks as well as implement the mitigation activities.
  • Daily collaborating with our order handler / purchasing team when it comes to trading compliance & logistics issue.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in international trading or related major.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience on import/export of global trading business.
  • Must be fluent in Mandarin and English (both oral and writing).
  • Good interpersonal communications skill.
  • Good Computer skills in MS Windows / Office and other applications (special in Excel).
  • Available to work under time pressure.
