Position Summary:

The Trade Compliance Specialist will support Entegris Trade Compliance Program by coordinating import and export compliance activities, performing audits, training and record keeping, and by providing guidance and recommendations to compliance related issue to mitigate risks This position is located near Shanghai, China and reports to the Trade Compliance Manager in Shanghai, under the Global Logistics.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

l Support to ensure daily import and export operations or activities are executed in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and requirements (especially the US and CN requirement).

l Screening of customer to ensure legitimate end user and end use.

l Evaluate products for China export control requirements. Support license management if required.

l Determine and maintain tariff classification (HS Code) in SAP, drive process improvement to ensure accuracy.

l Support on internal and external trade compliance audits.

l Monitor and review/release GTS blocks for Asia.

l Respond to ad hoc trade compliance related requests and issues, and develop, implement and maintain a standard procedure to ensure future compliance.

l Stay up to date on regulation developments, understands the regulatory requirements and assess the actions/changes required to keep compliance.

l Conduct trainings to other departments on regulations, procedures and trade compliance related topics to ensure compliance awareness.

l Support other projects as required and assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Physical Requirements):

Bachelor’s Degree in related field (concentration in International Business desired); 10 years progressive experience; knowledge of export licensing, strong ERP/SAP systems experience including GTS, strong project management skills and the ability to train others. Ability to travel globally.
