The Geo Compliance Leader (GLC) will lead regional executional goals for ECCN and Licensing Pillar. The successful candidate will be responsible (but not limited) for the following:
- Execute technical complexity tasks.
- Manage excursion and dependencies (linear solutions).
- Lead execution and regional goals, compliant and consistent.
- Lead regional communication and engagement.
- Manage logic and needs to optimize KTBR execution.
The ideal candidate requires a thorough working knowledge with domain in Trade, Export Controls, Foreign National Registration (FNR), ECCN, Licensing and in working with international teams to apply advanced knowledge, strategies, and concepts to Trade Facilitation areas. Regularly performs independent analysis, development, and implementation of solutions to complex problems related to operations resolving a wide range of issues in creative ways.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following skills and characteristics:
- Understanding and experience with Export Controls regulations and requirements.
- Trade technical on ECCN and Licensing.
- Trade technical on FNR.
- Business acumen and stakeholder management.
- Record of strong people management of technical experts.
- Embraces creative approaches to problem solving.
- Identifies opportunities, takes the initiative in proposing solutions, and securing support.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Engages with business partners, manages trade regulatory requirements to ensure program compliance, and effectively communicates to minimize trade impacts.
- Practical communication skills to peers and senior staff, prioritization, organization, research, and analysis skills.
- Delivers process enhancements and innovative solutions to improve trade facilitation programs and support the business.
- Experience providing training to engineers, management, and others in trade related topics.
- Fluency in English.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or advanced studies in International Trade, Customs administration, or related field of study; OR equivalent experience.
- Intermediate to advanced English level.
- 3+ years experience with project management.
- Unrestricted Costa Rica work permit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a job related field/ 2+ Years of experience is a plus.
- Export controls experience.
- Project management certification, or related certifications.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
