This position is responsible for supporting plant leadership in achieving business and financial goals by developing and maintaining robust international trade processes fully compliance with Eaton policies and all national and international applicable rules and legislation. This position can be combined to a full-time role with supporting Order management activities from the Order management department. Your main responsibilities: Ensures any import or export shipment that meets GTM laws, regulations and requirements. Ensures licenses are in place for all cross-boarding import and export. Ensures licenses are in place as required prior to the export of government items/technology. Ensures that required site-level procedures (e.g., desk procedures) are documented, maintained, and followed (i.e., regularly tested). Coordinates completion of the annual GTM self-assessment and ensure all local corrective actions are completed. Escalates GTM-related government inquiries and suspected non-compliance. Contacts point for coordination of on-site GTM assessments, audits, or concerns that surface. Identifies GTM points of contact in other functions (e.g., finance, HR, shipping). Attends training as necessary to ensure identification and understanding of applicable global Trade management laws, regulations, and requirements.
