Abbott Nutrition International Division is looking for Trade Sales Analyst based in Kuwait reporting to Financial Controller


Job Description

  • Support the Key Account Managers and Trade sales team in the execution of account sales initiatives such as monthly order projections, distribution by channel and SKU

  • Support the KAM in establishing key priorities to analyze target accounts and identify opportunities to influence the market and achieve key account targets

  • Creates models to predict trending and identify opportunities in support of the brand/business strategy

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to develop reports, analysis, dashboards, and other processes that support brand objectives and deliver desired insights about the business

  • Manage stakeholder expectations, balancing requests with what is possible/realistic and in alignment with trade sales and key account strategies/programs

  • Plans, proposes, initiates, enhancements and executes projects to support sales analytics and insight generation

  • Use knowledge of territory levers and a combination of digital/remote platforms to explore trade sales performance and opportunities, and track targets and KPIs, to generate insight about key account opportunities

  • Leverages data warehouse and BI tools to extract data and provide appropriate reporting/data visualization for KAM/sales leadership

  • Evaluate market dynamics and sales activities to conduct sales forecasting and support demand planning

Your Qualification

  • Bachelor’s in business administration

  • 4-5 years’ experience in sales planning and trade

  • Strategic thinking and customer-orientation (ability to see “big picture” and understand tactical implications)

  • Effective negotiation with stakeholders, managing differing priorities, personalities, styles, etc.

  • Strong data management and analytics expertise

  • Experience with Power BI and advanced Microsoft excel

  • Good understanding of Trade, sales skills/activities and customer relationship management

  • Strong data visualization skills and the ability to translate and communicate analytics and insights to non-technical audiences
