Do you like financial markets? Are you good at handling and interpreting large data sets? Are you analytical and enjoy investigating financial transactions, understanding trading strategies and make sense of unusual trading activity? Our team's goal is to identify and report potentially suspicious activity in the financial exchanges to the relevant competent authorities. As a member of our team, we expect you to:
• investigate instances generated by our surveillance systems
• get to the bottom of trading activity that you deem potentially suspicious and prepare reports when deemed justified
• learn about UBS' and its clients trading strategies and profiles
• understand the regulatory framework of the exchanges you will 'own'
• use your creativity and IT skills to enhance our monitoring tools
• contribute to team discussions, investigations and knowledge acquisition
• be able to work in a team that is spread around several APAC locations
