We are currently recruiting for a Train Presentation Operative to join our Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock team in Manchester. As a Train Presentation Operative your main responsibility would be to clean rolling stock berthed the allocated rolling stock to meet the requirements of the production plan, aligning with all local instructions and specifications at Siemens Mobility depots or agreed locations. This will mainly be Underframe cleaning with minimal supervision undertake the cleaning of the allocated rolling stock to meet the requirements of the production plan. This is your role, what will you be doing? With minimal supervision undertake the cleaning of the allocated rolling stock to meet the requirements of the production plan. Fuelling, tanking and Controlled Emission Toilet (CET) operation, when required assist other team members where appropriate Report all defects to Supervisor Underframe cleaning - site specific Be aware of safety at work and be alert in identifying potential hazards by removing or minimizing them wherever possible by following all health and safety procedures. What qualification, skills and experience you will need? Knowledge of Health and Safety including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and manual handling Good communication skills both oral and written Knowledge of cleaning equipment and relevant chemicals About us We’re Siemens.
