Job Description

• Monitor and control the production process, operations for Lithium carbonate and anhydrous as assigned.  Treatment and control of lithium carbonate, snyhydrous, and brines as assigned.  Other duties may be assigned as dictated by production duties.  Other duties will include helping and training in anyhydrous department as production needs arise.

Qualifications:  General knowledge of processing equipment, such as, valves, piping, pumps, steam generation, and heat transfer, as well as, packaging equipment.  Ability to take readings and measurements from process instrumentation and to make necessary calculations for process control.  Ability to maintain and use process records, logs, and SPC charts for process control.  Ability to follow written instructions and to comprehend the operation of a complex processing equipment.  Ability to work safely in a chemical processing environment and to work effectively with others in a team environment.  This is a shift work position with rotating 12 hour schedules.
