Job Title: Lifesciences Trainee Translator (English-Slovak)

Location: Slovakia

Job type: The contract is full-time (8 hours/day, 5 days a week) and the position is fully remote.

Working as a translator at RWS, you will be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality on time. The position is very versatile and you will learn a lot by receiving feedback on tasks submitted to allow you to improve the quality of your projects, learn new fields and even know when you did a great job.

 

Responsibilities:

• Translation and review of specialist texts (from the Lifesciences sector) with CAT tools (especially SDL Trados Studio)
• Post-editing of machine translated texts
• Providing linguistic support to other linguists
• Working closely with clients, reviewers and project managers

 

Requirements:

• Translator from English-Slovak
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience
• Master’s Degree or equivalent
• CAT & Office tools experience
• A team player and enjoy working in an international environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details
