The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. We have 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport precinct, it is the first accommodation and event space to be developed in this precinct.

We are seeking an experienced Training Advisor, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. You you will support the delivery of the learning and development strategy through the development of training materials consistent with business requirements and management of training records and developing talent across all three Hotels and Conference Centre.

As a Training Advisor, you will be responsible for all aspects of training & development, which includes but not limited to:

• Facilitating in-house training programs
• Identifying additional training needs to develop internal talent
• Maintain understanding of current training practices and ensure compliance with all national and state legislation
• Manage relationship with the RTO and training partners
• Reviewing and maintaining a Training Needs Matrix and conduct training needs analysis of the workforce
• Planning, maintaining and publishing a calendar of face-to-face training activities based on organisational needs
• Conducting monthly compliance reporting on mandatory training
• Carry out any other related duties as directed by Director of Human Resources

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in a hospitality/hotel environment preferred but not essential
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is not essential
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, including high attention to detail
• Excellent personal presentation with a positive approach
