Job Description
Job Summary Responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs in overall operations performanceat the customer support center of excellence. This position must also work closely with support management in the various Eaton Care support locations. This position is a member of the EatonCare leadership team, reporting to the ECSC Manager, and needs to understand the business in a way that leads to effective training plans, development of employees, and meeting our goal expectations. Job Responsibilities 1.- Communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals 2.- Managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs 3.- Map out annual training plans for Customer Service, Marketing & Tech Support 4.-Work in conjunction with the US customer support, sales, marketing, and IT teams to get the right information, format that correctly for local consumption 5.-Design and develop training programs 6.-Provide training on highly technical processes, systems, and products 7.-Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes) 8.-Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions 9.-Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed 10.-Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs 11.-Partner with leadership team in Queretaro and USA to identify opportunities areas 12.-Maintain updated curriculum database and training recordsv per employee 13.-Coordinating multiple training events 14.-Flex across multiple ERPs 15.-Develop interactive and engaging training 16.-Provide technical (tier 1) training for employees in the EatonCare organization 17.-Creation of commercial vidoe training that will be shared via Eaton University and Eaton.com Qualifications Education level required Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering from an accredited institution required. Years and area of experience required • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ work experience in training, sales, marketing, or similar role Technical knowledge •Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation •Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools •Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate) •Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques •Experience with e-learning platforms • Familiarity with different ERP´s ( VISTA, SAP, ORACLE ) Soft skills •Drive for results • Makes Decisions & Solves Problems • Demonstrates a Collaborative Style • Promotes and Champions Change • Business Acumen • Pursues personal development • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and a desire to actively contribute to the group’s successTeam player •Fluent verbal and concise written, communication skills for successful performance of position in English and Spanish • French or Portuguese is an asset • Strong analytical skills, logical thinking and process oriented What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
