Job Overview
In this position, you develop training courses and materials assisting service technicians in diagnosing and repairing Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) vehicles. To achieve this goal, you foster constant collaboration with internal and external subject matter experts. You are passionate about training and continuously improve your approach and deliverables to ensure success.
Responsibilities
- Conceive, develop and continuously improve instructor led and web based service training courses and materials to enable network technicians to diagnose and repair DTNA powertrain (engine, transmission, and axle) products.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and target learning objectives.
- Support training events and technician recognition programs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of DTNA products and be proficient with service resources.
- Maintain a strong communication channel with corporate and network instructors.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college with 3+ years of related experience; OR a Master's degree with 1 year of experience, or an Associates degree with 5 years of experience; OR a High School diploma/Equivalent and 7 years of experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
- Instructional design and training development experience preferred.
- High attention to detail required.
- Demonstrated ability of Adobe CC applications (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Animate) preferred.
- Proficiency with Articulate 360 applications (Storyline/Rise) preferred.
- Familiarity with LMS and E-Learning standards (AICC, SCORM, xAPI) preferred.
- Graphical design experience preferred.
- Motivated to remain current on learning design, standards, and technologies preferred.
- Training experience preferred
