Job Description
One of China's largest conglomerates, is looking for new graduates to work in high-paced fields such as Management, R&D, Marketing, Computer Engineering, Human Resources, Business development to name a few. In 2015, their revenue was nearly 190 billion RMB, and it employs nearly 180,000 people worldwide. After only 20 years of business, the conglomerate has grown rapidly and is now among China's Top 100 Enterprises. They are looking to create a new business division of this company focusing on technology environments, systems integration, and even artificial intelligence. They will be staffing the entire division with foreign employees in almost every level and department of the new subsidiary company. This will likely translate to 100’s of positions needed to be filled by the end of the year.

The company is looking for talented, active and positive individuals focused on personal growth and career development within the company. It is welcoming of fresh graduates, therefore previous experience in professional fields is not essential, but would be an asset. The salary will be negotiable, ranging from 100000-250000 per year depending on the position and its responsibilities. There is a possibility of negotiating higher salaries for those with appropriate experience in the field.

Training Development Manager

Job Description:
Training development managers plan, direct, and coordinate programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of an organization’s employees. The successful candidate will oversee a staff of training and development specialists that will help keep the company informed of new technologies, initiatives, projects, and directions within this new division. To enhance employees’ skills and an organization’s overall quality of work, training and development managers often confer with managers of each department to identify its training needs. Candidates require a combination of education and related work experience to become a training and development manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Explanation of permanent objectives to be achieved by the position
1. Operational Objectives
• Customize learning solutions to support department’s functional skills and its capability to drive the business unit’s functional performance and development
• Align training with the organization’s strategic goals
• Plan and execute annual learning curriculum, deliver key learning programs, engage managers’ performance dialogue and roll out corporate learning programs according to the annual learning plan
• Administer and monitor on-boarding programs for new employees to adjust to the work environment
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisors

2. Project Management
• Develop Learning and Development strategy & learning curriculum in line with overall China Learning and Development strategy
• Work closely with departments in analyzing and establishing yearly learning initiatives and outlining practice methods for different business units
• Create training materials and review other training materials from a variety of vendors and select materials with appropriate content

3. Quality Assurance
• Conduct ongoing analysis of training needs
• Conduct effective measurement to evaluate prior development actions and programs
• Update training programs to ensure that they are current
• Provide information to support individual development actions
• Create and manage a training budget, ensuring that operations are within budget

4. Knowledge Management
• Keep updated on new technologies of Research and Development Center
• Liaise with other teams to share information and assist in analysis where required
• Provide feedback for Business Information Modeling (BIM) project improvement


Key Internal & External Relationships:
Primary structure of relations and job hierarchy within the company
1. HR Director: Report to this manager and follow their direction
2. Other departments: Support various departments in achieving the specific training needs of the company
3. Team members: Delegate and coordinate operations with training team members

Work Environment:
(primary base of operations, frequency of travelling, etc.)
• Work based in Xi'an and could be travel to Beijing and other countries.
• Working primarily in main office with occasionally travels to other site.

Job Requirements:

• Must have completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field to this position (preferably from a highly respected university in China or abroad)
• Must have a very high level of English fluency
• Must be able to work in either Beijing or Xian and be willing to occasionally undertake work in Los Angeles, California.

Salary and Benefits:
