The director is responsible for providing continuity and coordination of all Academic activities. IMTI institution is directed by an individual or individuals trained and experienced in the field, with the following qualifications:

 Within the U.S.: at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and evidence of continuing professional growth

 International: the nationally recognized educational standard applied in each country and evidence of continuing professional growth
在国际上：拥有符合各个国家公认的教育标准的学历证书及前雇主提供的工作经验证明；

 A Montessori Credential at the level
拥有蒙台梭利资格证书（注明级别）；

 Evidence of competence in teaching, educational administration, and curriculum development (evaluations, letters of recommendation, projects developed, or curricula designed)
教学、教育管理和课程开发的相关证书或经验证明（例如：项目评估报告、推荐信、开发项目或设计课程等等）

 Evidence of at least five years of teaching experience in a Montessori classroom with children after receipt of Montessori credential

 Be a current member of AMS
AMS协会的现任会员。

General Responsibilities:

 To adhere to and maintain the highest possible standards of the training program, and to the standards of the American Montessori Society

 To formulate annual working plan and training plan of IMTI according to the organizational strategy
结合教育集团及培训中心的发展战略，制定培训中心的年度工作计划及培训计划;

 To deliver the Early Childhood Montessori Teacher Training curriculums being offered by the IMTI and/or as a part of any supplementary trainings or Professional Development being offered by IMTI

 To oversee the Course Directors of additional locations of IMTI and to provide administrative support

 To discuss with the Executive Director of the NIME and/or the Academic Consultant of Wisdom International Education Group on a regular basis as to the progress and development of these courses and their staffing

 To provide training in all areas of the Montessori curriculum as the IMTI training schedule requires with a minimum of 2 core subjects being delivered in the Early Childhood Montessori Teacher Training

 To provide training for internal staff of the Wisdom schools

 The Training Director is responsible for facilitating the daily mechanics and scheduling of the Montessori courses, their instructors and the field visits of the students

 The Training Director will conduct at least 1 visit per student per year in their Practicum placement with the purpose of providing continuity of each student’s development and general good will for the IMTI.
