Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Training & Events Specialist to join our team. This is a hybrid position, which can be based in one of the following locations: Highland, IL; Syracuse, NY or Moon Township, PA. Position Overview: The Training & Events Specialist will be responsible for evaluating our division needs and current practices, creating and delivering a training and events development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources. The ideal candidate will be a confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up to date on the latest tools and resources needed to help improve employee and channel partner performance. Key responsibilities include: Works with subject matter experts to identify and develop non-technical, technical and professional training topics. Oversee, lead and train division employees and channel partners via in-person or virtual seminars, webinars, workshops. Creates and maintains training content and materials, such as module summaries, videos, quizzes and presentations, including training for continuous education units (CEUs) and professional development hours (PDHs). Prepares and edits training recordings; upload final approved documents to the appropriate sites for on-demand training sessions. Lead division’s event and tradeshows planning and execution; attend and work shows as needed. Promote and track training and events effectiveness via monthly and quarterly reports to management. Provide direction and lead efforts to continuously improve our training and events to drive the best return on our investments. Manages relationships with LMS, event/tradeshow vendors, and other vendors as needed. Design displays and interactive training solutions for Eaton facilities and customer displays. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of (Highland, IL; Syracuse, NY or Moon Township, PA) to be considered. Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future Ability to travel up to 25% Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications 3+ years' experience in training content development 3+ years' experience in training large and small audiences in virtual and in person settings.
