Are you an experienced trainer in the Education industry who will join our trainer team to take our LEGO Education Afterschool training to the next level?

It is a great job for you to start a fantastic career, developing systematic training solutions, including training course design, training methodology adoption, training implementation, etc. Together with the Experience Team for Afterschool China, the Training Manager will bring strong knowledge from years of experience in training to support hundreds of nation-wide centres in future.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support in developing a sustainable program that can grow with the demand for teacher training and certification.
  • Be at the forefront of how to write high-quality training materials whilst working with tight deadlines
  • Act as a role model in delivering engaging and effective training for STEAM and 21st century skills
  • Infusive performance in training, capable to ensure great training result and judge the trainee’s teaching quality
  • Solicit feedback from teachers on a regular basis in order to keep improving their overall training experience and increasing training satisfaction
  • Provide developmental feedback, actively encourages reflective practice in any required observation and follows up on progress.
  • Be a qualified member of a team of training and certification, collaborate with the team proactively
  • Collaborate with LEGO Education colleagues in various global teams as well as the China In-school team to create synergies and build on each other’s learnings and know-how.
  • Manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in projects following the process guidance accordingly.

The LEGO Education Afterschool business in China is focused on our presence in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. We have a modest reach into the market today, and it is our ambition to grow the size, quality and impact of our business considerably.
The Experience for Afterschool China team will be responsible for the overall concept and experience development, the team developing the content, assessment tools, teacher training programs, overall marketing plan as well as the in-center experience for the LEGO Education Afterschool centers in China comprising among other elements also the Visual Identity of centers.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, in education, training or other relevant area
  • Above 5 years of teaching experience and/or training of teachers, experience in after school centres will be more expected.
  • Experience in supporting an educational training and certification program and ensure implementation
  • Experience in writing training materials for in-person and online use
  • Experience in adapting international content to Chinese needs, particularly within Afterschool
  • Proven record in teacher training and certification program development
  • Good written and oral English and Chinese skills
  • Experience with LEGO Education materials or other creative STEAM training is preferred
  • Global/local traveling on an approx. level of 20 days/year.
  • Have a creative mindset to seek new solutions whilst working with tight deadlines.
  • English Advanced - Level 13-16 (C1, C2)
