As Scientific and Commercial Training Manager Oncology you will be responsible for contributing to business objectives achievement by supporting training  and development for employees, with a focus on field-based roles.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Training Coordinator you will have responsibility for developing and administering training programs for employees, assessing training and development needs for organisations, helping individuals and groups develop skills and knowledge, presenting training sessions and monitoring training for effectiveness for the assigned therapeutic areas.

The role broadly includes the following key components:

  • Determine training needs and requirements for an organisation or group by meeting with internal stakeholders and aligning with business goals and needs
  • Work with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments
  • Create and deliver training programmes and methods to meet specific training needs
  • Schedule training sessions, organize information technology and other equipment, manage course enrolment and present in-person and online training sessions if required
  • Evaluate organizational performance to ensure business needs are met and performance improved
  • Manage budget/costs for all programmes in order to report to organisation executives regarding a return on investment
  • Maintain understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods
  • Drive brand values through all training and development activities
  • Effectively collaborate with colleagues at Global level as well as local level (especially field force colleagues)
  • Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training
  • Manage all activities and Account relationship according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislation

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Scientific Degree
  • At least 3 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical field (i.s ad Sales Rep); previous training experience is preferred
  • Oncology TA experience/scientific knowledge
  • Digital mindset and approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent planning and time management competencies
  • Strong collaboration, cross-functional and teamworking skills
  • Excellent skills of inclusiveness and support in the creation of new teams
  • IT and digital skills at proficient level
  • Proactivity and enthusiasm
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Italian
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods would be a plus
