Job Description

As a Training Specialist, you serve as an integral component of the Human Resources function by supporting learning and development initiatives through Hilton's comprehensive training framework. Specifically, a Training Specialist will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Develop, design and conduct training programs, including Leadership programs according to the hotels strategy within the established budget.
- Monitor the creation of the hotel training calendar with the heads of departments and ensure the right Team Members are appointed in the right regional training offers.
- Coordinate training programs such as Elevator and Finesse and act as coach to the participants.
- Together with the Human Resources Director this person will be charge for talent review and succession planning
- Assess performance gaps and work with managers to develop and implement appropriate training to improve performance.
- Support individual and team development, career development, and training and experience-based learning.
- Induct, coach and mentor new Team Members.
- Maintain accurate training records for all Team Members.
- Monitor and conduct learning and development reviews with each department.
- Together with the Human Resources Director, act as HRBP and take actions towards the KPI goals/results in order to be in line with the Business and HR strategy (Guest satisfaction surveys, Team Members annual opinion surveys, Personal development reviews, Quality audits and Financial KPIs).
- Motivate and counsel the departmental trainers and ensure training manuals and job skill checklists are up-to-date.
- Manage and secure Training public subsidies.
- Run presentations / interviews in local tourism universities.
- Support to the HR department in different areas and projects: recruitment, administrative tasks, CSR, etc
