Eaton’s Aerospace Group is seeking a Director, Operations Transformation to join our team. This position can be based remotely, preferably near one of Eaton’s major aerospace hubs. Position Overview: The Director, Operations Transformation is to provide leadership and support and champion together with Aerospace Region/Division/Site on focus sites and initiatives. This role provides expert advice and coaching to the site leadership to ensure standardization, deployment, and execution of best practices in safety, quality, delivery, manufacturing, materials management, and continuous improvement consistent with the Eaton Business System. This person is to lead and/or facilitate the investigation and solve/recommend the possible solutions to unique situations or problems. The Director, Operations Transformation effectively takes ownership of the transformation initiative strategy and in doing so he/she delivers the committed performance in terms of multi-year world class sustainable High Five Metrics performance, yearly manufacturing/operating profits, cost reductions (CONC), inventory management, quality management systems, and continuous improvement on key strategic manufacturing sites in the Industrial Sector. Essential Responsibilities: Ensures accountability and enables the predictability of the outcomes of each transformation site Direct and coordinate operations implementing metrics, process improvements, and organizational changes to drive world class performance in the agreed upon target focus sites Provide effective change management leadership and support so that the change vision is delivered using innovative solutions. Fosters an environment which promotes Eaton’s goals and encourages a Continuous Improvement culture Leverage EBS tools to drive continuous improvement Lead clear case for change, desired outcomes, accurate scope, clear roles, and decision-making Ensure transformation teams EMEA and NA alignment in the design and execution of transformation efforts Set ambitious world class standards that are measured, monitored, and achievable Aligns transformation team objectives with the overall business objectives to ensure a strategy-focused workforce Drives the compliance to the ethics policy and holds others accountable for ethical conduct Directs and mentors the site leadership team in the performance of their respective roles and consistent with the Eaton leadership model Accountable for the day-to-day decisions that directly impact the quality, efficiency, and profitability of the overall plants Helps the Plant Manager to maintain a workforce of highly motivated employees with a morale that is conducive to high performance with performance being measured at or above minimum acceptable levels Develops controls and critically reviews results of operation in reference to planned objectives Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum 12 years’ experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in manufacturing and/or supply chain Minimum 7 years’ experience leading managers of people Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
