ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN • Works from complex test procedures, electro/mechanical schematics, diagrams, written and/or verbal descriptions, and layouts to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.

• May work with little or no formally released documentation.

• Performs complex mechanical, soldering, and repair tasks.

• Writes technical reports and test procedures.

• Performs moderately complex operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.

• Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.

• Assists in the design, fabrication, test, and check-out of test equipment.

• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Incumbents may be assigned to work in a lab environment performing activities including (but not limited to) PM preparation, uptime monitoring, system safety checks, facility monitoring/ setup, FSR planning and follow through, and/or engineering parts installation/tracking. Job Specific Knowledge

• 3+ years directly related experience. Qualifications/Skills

• Requires good skills in problem solving, communication, personal electiveness, team skills and quality.

• Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function such as Lotus Notes, MS Word, Excel, Oracle Manufacturing Inquiry and View, and/or PDM.

• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Education • AS level degree in electronics technology (or equivalent), or BSEET level degree. POSITION

LOCATED: Austin, Texas; Santa Clara, CA; Kalispell, MT; Specifically looking for military skill sets in avionics, electrical, mechanical, nuclear, etc.
