Job Description
eChinacities.com is an English-language website covering 41 cities in China created by expats for expats. We provide up-to-date, informative and entertaining China-related articles, news, job info, classifieds and more to the English speaking community in China. We are also committed to building an interactive platform – including a Q&A forum, dating site and community blog section – that brings the expat community closer together.


Work Location:
Beijing

Start date: ASAP

Internship duration: 3-6 months (flexible, with the opportunity for P/T or F/T employment)

Job Description:
Successful candidates will assist in translating from Chinese to English, editing and polishing content, researching and writing articles and short posts, marketing and customer services .
Remuneration will be provided for the successful candidates.

In addition to providing valuable work experience as translators, this internship will also allow interns to gain experience in editing and writing, marketing and customer services.

Qualifications/Skills:
Native-level or advanced-level English
University degree (or currently enrolled in a degree programme)
Outstanding skills in written and spoken English
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Keen interest in local culture, entertainment and online media
Ability to meet deadlines

Experience and/or qualifications in mandarin/journalism/translating/online media a plus
