Translation Line Manager - Norwegian

We are looking for a talented line manager with experience in the translation industry to join our team in the Norwegian remote office. You share our passion for the finer details of language. In this varied and exciting role, you will manage a team of enthusiastic language professionals with many years of translation experience for some of the world`s leading companies, supporting and guiding them on a daily basis. You will be a key contributor to the personal development of team members and drive performance to ensure the achievement of office goals.

 

Your main duties

 

·         Ensuring adherence to processes and procedures

·         Monitoring and enhancing the quality of linguistic work produced by your team

·         Monitoring and analysing the financial results and addressing issues in order to make improvements

·         Ensuring the team is working in the most efficient way

·         Working collaboratively with the management team to generate and share ideas and ensure a consistent line management approach

·         Ensuring a strong sense of team spirit and teamwork

·         Providing constructive linguistic feedback and direction and identifying training and development needs

 

We expect you to have

 

·         Some years of experience in translation business and suitable education

·         Experience in people management

·         Efficiency and excellent communication skills

·         Fluent Norwegian and English skills

·         Problem-solving skills

·         The ability to build relationships and motivate others

·         Ability to work as a team with other line managers and liaison groups in RWS offices around the world
