About The Role:

The Talent Manager provides a variety of services to manage the supply chain in order to optimize resource utilization, quality, and capacity that enable a talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs. Applies deep recruitment and resource management experience to a variety of projects and builds credibility with a range of stakeholder groups.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Operational Excellence

  • Proactively assesses RWS capacity in all areas, collaborating with language offices (LO) and project management (PMO), to ensure the supply chain in actively supporting our company growth.
  • Develops resources plans for specified campaigns and determines necessary resource mix to fulfill requirements (e.g., recruitment, contractor/freelancers).
  • Monitors utilization of vendors to ensure balanced usage.
  • Creates, analyzes, and monitors purchasing plans for his/her designated territory.

 

Delivers Quality, Value, and Results

  • Conducts quality assessments and business reviews with vendors and freelancers to ensure the highest quality resources and appropriate agreements are developed/in place.
  • Develops and strengthens relationships with talent sources to position RWS as an “employer of choice”. This includes working with universities/similar institutions to develop talent and promote RWS, vendor relationships, developing mutually beneficial relationship with freelancers.
  • Leverages Social Media and other methods to promote RWS brand.
  • Analyzes expenditures to validate and strengthen cost control strategies and influence the buying strategy.

 

Functional Excellence

  • Based on comprehensive analysis of data, identifies and develops improvement to RWS policies, procedures, and tools to enhance the supply chain.
  • May lead activities to better promote/educate the user community (e.g., language offices, project teams) on applicable policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Plays an active role in implementing new practices and associated change management activities.
  • Drives the effective use of the Vendor Database by developing standard instructional materials and/or providing hands-on instruction/training.

 

Relationship Building

  • Builds strong internal relationships to understand short and long term resourcing needs and collaboratively develops sustainable supply chain strategies and methods.
  • Cultivates external networks and relationships to position the RWS brand to increase and strengthen the overall supply chain.
  • Builds credibility as a subject matter expert by providing insight to trends and new methods in managing the overall supply chain.

 

 

At times, a Talent Manager may perform select Talent Finding responsibilities as needed by the business.

 

Below is a list of common Talent Finding responsibilities:

 

  • Sourcing candidates (e.g., contractors/freelancers, new employees)
  • Advertising campaigns (e.g., to includes leveraging social media)
  • Candidate tracking (e.g., leads, applications, interviews)
  • Selection (e.g., reviewing CVs/applications, testing/evaluation)
  • Hiring (e.g., offer coordination, rate negotiation, on-boarding, integration into project)
  • Promoting RWS brand in market (e.g., events, networking, social media)
  • Vendor/freelancer relationship building (e.g., promoting/encouraging freelancers to apply to RWS, developing knowledge of freelancer community, building mutually beneficial relationship with freelancers)

Requirements:

 

  • Typically requires at least a degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years related experience.
  • Advanced level of English is Mandatory.
