Job Title: Translator (English-Slovak)

Location:  remote job from anywhere in Slovakia

Job type: The contract is full-time (8 hours/day, 5 days a week) and the position is fully remote.

 

About The Role:

If you think of yourself as someone with solid experience in the translation industry, strong communication and able to deliver high quality results, this opportunity is for you!

Working as a translator at RWS, you will be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality on time and within budget. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Translation and review of texts with CAT tools (especially SDL Trados Studio)
• Post-editing of machine translated texts
• Layout check of translated documents
• Quality and terminology management
• Independent coordination and administration of translation projects
• Close cooperation with project managers and freelance translators
• Assistance with mentoring our interns or junior translators

 

Requirements:

• Professional translator from English-Slovak
• At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Master’s Degree or equivalent
• CAT & Office tools experience
• A team player and enjoy working in an international environment
• Organisational talent and communication skills
