RWS Thailand, Bangkok office currently has vacancies on its Internship programme for Translator Interns. Applicants must offer translation English into Thai language.

This paid internship will run for a fixed term of 2-3 months, and is designed to provide an introduction to professional translation and allow translators to grow key linguistic and commercial skills as they begin their careers in the localisation industry. The programme will offer training modules in translation, review and machine translation post-editing, as well as full instruction in the use of some of RWS’s key technology solutions and valuable guidance on achieving a successful career in translation. For candidates who successfully complete the internship, there may be an opportunity to take up a freelance position.

Job Requirements: 

1. Degree-level education in the applicable language
2. Being a Thai native speaker with Thai nationality
3. Excellent English and Thai language skills
4. Excellent attention to detail
5. Good written/verbal communication
6. Flexibility and ability to work to a deadline
7. Ambition and a desire to learn and progress
8. Good Microsoft Office and Internet skills
