About The Role:

Our Thailand Bangkok Office currently has vacancies on its Intern Programme for Translator Interns. Applicants must offer translation into Thai from English.

This paid internship will run for a fixed term of 2 months, and is designed to provide an introduction to professional translation and allow translators to grow key linguistic and commercial skills as they begin their careers in the localisation industry. The programme will offer training modules in translation, review and machine translation post-editing, as well as full instruction in the use of some key technology solutions and valuable guidance on achieving a successful career in translation. For candidates who successfully complete the internship, there may be an opportunity to take up a permanent position.

• The internship is for 8 weeks

Requirements:

1. Degree-level education in the applicable language

2. Excellent Thai language skills

3. Excellent English language skills

4. Excellent attention to detail

5. Good written/verbal communication

6. Flexibility and ability to work to a deadline

8. Good Microsoft Office and Internet skills
