Objective of Job

• coordination and monitoring of deliveries from DAC OLD to customers and DRX plants
• assisting of VIB – PL4 and VIB – PA3 the planning of transport routes for DAC and DAC OLD with focus on DRX-standards, costs and time
• securing of absolute adherence to delivery dates
• implementation of improvements with focus on cost and time considering the rules of DRX-standards together with VIB – PL4 and VIB – PA3
• Supply DRX plants (e.g. with raw materials, semi-finished products, parts, containers, transport,(etc.)/
  customer plants.
• Coordination and monitoring of deliveries from DEC to customers and DRX plants (e.g. DAC and CKD plant).
• Act as a contact between plant and customers(e.g. BBA BBAC VW)

Principle Activities

• Monitor indicators according to guidelines, and report any deviations
• Control and coordinate internal DRX production and external subcontractors or transport companies
• Monitor inventory levels, taking into consideration production supply and the level of the warehouse and container inventory OR
• Retrieve inventory levels and production quantities in order to plan transport
• Recognize bottlenecks and initiate special actions (e.g. special or rapid transport, extra shifts, etc.)
• Place orders (e.g. materials, semifinished products, parts, containers, transport, etc.)
• Monitor delivery amounts and schedules
• Act as a contact between suppliers, production locations, customers
• Handle launches and phase-outs
• Handle excess inventorycompilation of detailed transport schedules
• monitoring of outgoing transports to customers and DRX plants
• collection and filing of transport data
• monitoring of incoming sea- and airfreight shipments
• communication with forwarding companies
• organization of special transportations considering time and costs
• availability in case of emergency regarding transports 24/7
• coordination of actions regarding transport in case of emergancies
• beverage container management
• account management for container accounts with DRX plants and customers
• making of annual inventories of container stock
• making of inventory sampling procedure of container stock
• re-ordering of container stock from VIB-PL412
• organization of container repair with DAC-MM
• Obey company EHS policy and Environment safety guidelines

Job and Work Requirements

• Good English language ability
• Administrative experience
• Minimum 1 year job experience in Logistics or Production area
• Funded negotiation experience
• Knowledge of customs basics
• Well advanced in electronic data processing (Microsoft Office)
• Assertive and communicative personality
• Ability to understand and interpret logistics processes (JIT processes, customer specific ordering)
