About The Role:

RWS is seeking a Temporary Treasury Analyst to join its Group Treasury team based in Maidenhead (home/hybrid working).

 You will be helping to increase the capability and oversight of the treasury function across the group, assist in the centralization of this function, and help deliver on BAU and key Treasury Projects (Cashflow Forecasting , Intercompany Processing and Cash Repatriation to name a few).

 

Responsibilities:

The role is and will play a key part in centralizing our treasury function and have involvement in a number of internal treasury projects aimed at delivering ongoing process improvements which are critical to the strategy of RWS.

As a Treasury Consultant you will work alongside the other Treasury Analyst and be responsible for :

  • Day to day Treasury Operations to cover BAU tasks alongside the Treasury Analyst.
  • Drive the improvement of all spreadsheets used today for Cash Management and Forecasting.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of a Group wide Cash Flow Forecasting process. Build and own Consolidated Group Cashflow forecast Model (Direct and Indirect)
  • Maintenance of a central repository and understanding of all Intergroup loan arrangements ensuring appropriate documentation is in place and current in coordination with the country/regional controller teams.
  • Support the Central Accounting Team by providing updated interest rates for all intercompany loans periodically.
  • Ad Hoc basis Liaising and Co-ordinating with Group Tax, Legal and other internal stakeholders on Step Plans, I/Co Dividend payments, Repatriation, Capitalization etc. and determining effective and sustainable ways to implement these measures.
  • Assisting in the Group’s debt requirements including accruals and calculation of bank covenants and ensuring timely roll-over of Group’s debt (Currently monthly RCF drawdowns)
  • Liaising with Auditors to ensure all treasury-related matters are addressed promptly.
  • Establishing a Treasury Dashboard in Excel with Management Reporting (Consolidated Group Cash, Counterparty Exposure and Limits, Credit Ratings etc..)
  • Document all owned processes and procedures above eg Forecasting, Intercompany, Dashboard Reporting and BAU.
  • Assisting in any future Netting arrangements and FX Balance Sheet Exposure Reporting.

 

Requirements:

 

  • AMCT Qualified.
  • Previous Corporate Treasury experience (5+ years) is essential with hands on experience of  Cashflow Forecasting, Intercompany loans, Treasury Management Reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel Skills and Financial Modelling.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder.
  • Ability to challenge existing processes and provide alternative solutions.
  • Hands-on approach ideally having worked in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about developing their career in a corporate treasury function.
  • Active learner with a desire to constantly improve their performance.
  • Self-starter with the ability to use their initiative to resolve day-to-day issues.
