Your role

Become part of the newly established TruConnect Consulting team and work with customers and internal teams to transform customers´ operations into smart factories

1) Work with the team and international experts to establish a sound consulting offering for digital factory management tailored to the Chinese market (analytical approach, business model, project design,…)

2) Participate in business development activities to extend the knowledge about smart manufacturing in general and TruConnect in particular (Lean/Smart Manufacturing training sessions, quick factory checks, customer discussions,…)

3) Lead customer teams in walking forward on their paths to a digitally transformed organisation

• Perform initial process and systems analyses (Smart Factory Assessments)
• Develop transformation roadmap together with the customer
• Support the customer´s team in implementing the roadmap in the areas of lean processes, digitalization, connectivity and transparency

Support product management, TRUMPF´s internal smart factory initiative and the management team in systematically developing TruConnect in China and internationally

Your profile

Diplom/Master degree from International or top Chinese University, MBA would be a plus

Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Management

Min. 3 years of experience in lean/IT/management consulting, production management or process optimization. Experience with smart manufacturing / IoT applications is a strong plus

Good understanding about production technology, production management principles, lean management and IT systems

Exceptional analytical skills and structured problem-solving ability

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to communicate on eye-level with senior customer representatives, local sales representatives, internal leadership etc

Able to work independently and strong self-motivation

Proven leadership track record (e.g. team leadership, project leadership...)

Chinese (native), fluent German and/or English (CET 6, fluent in writing and orally)
