Our project is aiming to develop a truck for China and has the target to meet and implement all the different Chinese market requirements. The R&D Department where we belong to is responsible for the development of Trucks and Aggregates for Daimler Truck AG worldwide.
Although our project is for the Chinese market and all project decision are taken in China, the R&D is set up globally with teams around the world. Our R&D PMO is responsible to steer the R&D projects in our project. You will be the local interface of the R&D PMO in China with, together with the project PMO and the global R&D and will support in strong collaboration the PMO of our project in Germany. Development and application of a specific Project Management toolset.
Task description:
- Plan and schedule project Quality Gates and milestones. Conduct proactive project planning, steering and reporting
- Organize and lead cross functional R&D project workshops
- Lead changemanagement from R&D perspective and align the overall technical solution within R&D
- Support Head of R&D with special tasks
- Conduct project reports incl. actual vs, identify needed actions and propose countermeasures.
