Job Purpose:

? Be responsible for the production unit (in terms of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Inventory, Motivation) of one Autonomous Production Unit, in terms of targets achievement and results improvement.

? Be responsible for lean deployment in production unit.

Key areas of accountability:

? Responsible for production management

1. Be accountable for SQCDM performance and profitability (gross margin) of APU, in terms of targets achievement, and improvement.

2. Be responsible for shop floor safety compliance with standard

3. Be responsible for process quality and continuous improvement.

4. Ensure optimal use of equipment (OEE).

5. Be responsible for efficiency improvement plan, ensuring that there are permanently workshops efficiency

6. Respect daily and weekly MPS contract

? Continuous improvement and Lean deployment

1. Lead workstation ergonomics risk analysis and elimination.

2. Lead daily QRQC activity (Safety, Quality, Direct Labor efficiency, Maintenance).

3. Lead plant tour and shop floor audit activities.

4. Lead for lean deployment plan

5. Ensure that standards of reaction are applied with rigor and perform escalation according to standards.

6. Promote lean knowledge in the daily activities, set and reach lean targets of his/her APU.

? Budget management

Manage the budget of production unit and allocates the appropriate resources in respect with the budget perimeter. Implement necessary corrective actions for compliance.

? People management

1. Ensure that any new employee of his/her perimeter follows an Induction process.

2. Monitor team member’s competences and develops to autonomy

3. Ensure working standards are respected by team member

4. Organize communication with team in daily, weekly & monthly basis

5. Conduct annual appraisals, career interviews, succession planning for his team.

6. Perform OJT of his/her teams every day on standards & methodologies implemented.

7. Congratulate and recognize its team for improvements.

? Contribute to successful new projects

1. Be involved in the industrialization of new projects, trail run & SOPs and facilitate by his / her actions and properly start up.

2. Validate project milestone and Lean Process Design Checklist for new projects, ensure ramp up smoothly

Qualification:

? Bachelor degree

? Minimum 5 years’ experience of operations in manufacturing

? Familiar with LEAN knowledge and implementation

? Automotive experienced preferred

? Good communication skills to people in different level, both in English and Mandarin

? Logical thinking

? Good team player, proactive, positive and passionate
